2006 Brunel The Man £2 Gold Proof
Isambard Kingdom Brunel, 9th April 1806 to 15th September, 1859 , was the only son of a French civil engineer. He was educated at Hove, near Brighton, England and in Paris. He was renown for his work on the Great Western Railway linking London to Bristol and later, for later steamship building.
Struck to superb Proof quality in 22 carat yellow gold with the outer ring in 22 carat red gold there is a limited mintage of just 1500 of this gold coin so it is sure to become highly sought after.
