Australian Lunar Gold Coin

The Perth Mint are celebrating the Chinese Year of the Dog with this Australian lunar gold coin series.

The design on the reverse, features a Chow Chow, An intelligent breed of dog which originated in China. The obverse is the traditional picture of the Ian Rank-Broadley’s effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

This is a proof quality coin struck from 99.99 percent pure gold and is issued as legal tender. Only 7000 of the one tenth of a troy ounce coins have been minted so this will become a collectors item.

Each coin comes with a certificate of authenticity and will be tastefully presented in a green leatherette case.
