2006 Gilded Kookaburra Gold and Silver

This very nice coin is struck from one ounce of 99.99 percent silver with two exquisitely gilded 24 carat gold kookaburras on a tree branch on the reverse side. The Obverse carries Ian Rank-Broadley’s effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Each coin comes with a commemorative gold-plated pin featuring a similar kookaburra design theme.
The mintage is limited to 10,000 sets of coin and pin and are housed in a stylish, silver colored presentation box, accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
Cost is just over 40 dollars with shipping expected to be around 20 dollars
The coins are issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 and the face value is 1 Australian Dollar (equal to about 76 US Cents)
